Job Description:
The Recruiter / HR assistant for UPT will assist the HR Manager with daily HR functions for our small but expanding company with 4 locations and 80 employees.

Responsibilities:
Initial duties include but are not limited to posting jobs online resume review checking references phone screening and in-person interviews filing paperwork.
Other duties include helping current employees with benefits questions planning and coordinating company outings, events, and training sessions.
Some travel between two main locations in the Charlotte/Locust area.
Occasional travel to Ohio and Pittsburgh (two other UPT locations).
This position can be full-time or part-time with the flexibility to work remotely from home one or two days per week.

Required
Qualifications:
Must be a U.
S.
Citizen.
Must have at least a High School diploma.
At least 1-2 years prior Human Resources or Recruiting experience.
Must enjoy working with people and living the motto; employees come first.
Must have a strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills in the Human Resources area.
Strong computer skills (posting on the internet and social media) as well as MS office (word and excel) Must be able to pass a background check.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
